MarquisCast Quick Installation Guide

  Installation

1. For power, connect the micro USB cable to the MT20.

2. Connect the other end of the micro USB cable to the TV’s USB port or to the USB power adapter and plug the adapter into outlet.

3. Connect the MT20 dongle to your TV’s HDMI port.

4. Connect the remote control receiver to USB port (a USB hub can be used if connecting the receiver with external storage devices).

5. Select the correct TV input source for your TV via TV’s remote control.

6. MT20’s main screen interface will display on your TV.

7. Use the remote control to control the MT20.

* The remote is IR based (Infrared), thus, the remote will need to be pointed towards the receiver in order to function properly.

 

Settings - Wi-Fi Network & Language

*Press the Return button on the remote control to go back to the main screen.

 

Wi-Fi Network

1. When the MT20 is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, a question mark in the upper right corner will show up on the screen. After, select Settings on the MT20’s main screen. 

2. Select Network.

3. Select the same wireless network for both your mobile devices and the MT20. Enter the Wi-Fi network password (if you use one).

4. When the MT20 is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi symbol will appear in the upper right corner and the name of Wi-Fi network will appear in the bottom left corner.

 

* The multimedia player will auto memorize the last Wi-Fi connection. If you use a new Wi-Fi router, please reset the Wi-Fi network settings.

  Language

1. Select Settings.
2. Select Language and select your language.

 

Miracast Wireless Display

* Miracast requires Android 4.2 or above.

1. On the MT20, select Miracast from the main menu. The MT20 is now ready to pair.

2. On your mobile device, scan for available devices through the Miracast wireless display function. (check your device’s user manual).

3. The mobile device will detect the usable devices. Select MT20-###### (last 6 digits will vary by device). 

4. After connecting, the mobile device and your TV will work synchronously.

* If you do not want the mobile device and the screen to stay synchronized, select the Disconnect icon. If you want to use the Miracast function again, go back to the main screen and select Miracast.

 

Mobile Device Playback

  Android:

For Android™ devices, users can use the DLNA streaming application. You can download the MeeVideo app from the Google Play™ Store in order to stream content from mobile devices. We also highly recommend downloading the iMediaShare app from the Play Store for more web streaming sources.

  iOS:

By default, the MT20 is set to play immediately through AirPlay®. You can download the MeeVideo app from the App Store in order to stream content from mobile devices. We also highly recommend downloading the iMediaShare app from the App Store for more web streaming sources.

 

Using Your Device As The Remote Control

For Android, download the MeePlayer Lite app from the Google Play Store, or, for iOS, download the MeeVideo app from the Apple App Store. The app can be used as a remote control for the MT20. *Make sure both your mobile device and MT20 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
